West Medford Open Studios Returns on June 26th (FREE)

June 26th from 11am to 6pm at Dugger Park

This year, the West Medford Open Studios 2021 will be hosted by the Mystic at Dugger Park on Saturday June 26th from 11am to 6pm for a free fun arts event! 

West Medford Open Studios (WMOS) invites everyone interested to a free arts event for you to discover and celebrate your inner artists and creativity. The event comes after the cancellation of the 2020 event. This time around, they are bringing you a one-day festival at Dugger Park along the Mystic River in West Medford. To keep everyone safe, they are taking precautions and artists will be located under individual canopies and there will be distance between them so that visitors can walk freely and enjoy the event while also being able to communicate with the artists. 

The festival showcases the talent of over 50 visual artists from the area who will share paintings, sculptures, pottery, photographs, woodwork, drawings, blown glass, fabric arts, and jewelry. 

There will also be live music performances and readings that will run through the day in the outdoor space located behind the West Medford Community Center. Here is a schedule of the performers and writers who will attend the event:

11 a.m. • Juventas New Music Ensemble | Contemporary classical chamber ensemble

Noon • Occasional Brass Quintet | Pop and jazz

1 p.m. • Al Peterson | Music
3 p.m. • The Porter Squares | Rock & roll, rhythm & blues 

5 p.m. • The Feuds | Quarrelsome rock & roll
