Lowell’s Town & Music Festival
Lowell can’t wait to officially celebrate the end of a very long winter downtown with The Town and The City Festival on April 8 and 9.
Named after Jack Kerouac’s novel that takes place in Lowell (the historic mill city), this 2-day music and arts festival honors the author’s creativity and exploration. This year’s festival will be held at various event spaces, bars, cafes, and galleries throughout downtown Lowell, Massachusetts.
The lineup includes over 40 artists– Jon Langford & Friends, The Chelsea Curve, Damn Tall Building, and The Chelsea Curve to name a few. A line-up as diverse as this guarantees that all music tastes will be catered throughout the two days!
Mass Cultural Council, Washington Savings Bank, visitma.com, Greater Merrimack Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau, Vinyl Destination, and Boston Central will be sponsoring the festival. Volunteer slots are still open, if the role interests you please complete this form.
Festival passes and tickets are still on sale on the festival’s official website– prices range from $6 to $50. However if you had tickets for the previous October dates, the tickets remain valid.
Attend the Town and Music Festival for a diverse mix of musical genres and artistic disciplines that inspires discovery and celebrates a love of life!
