After Hours Til Dawn MA

After delaying his After Hours Til Dawn Tour due to pandemic reasons, Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye released the highly anticipated new dates for the first leg of his show in the U.S. and Canada on March 3, 2022.

Bostonians will be thrilled to learn that the Canadian singer is scheduled to perform at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, July 21. Doja Cat will be joining Tesfaye across all dates. The two artists collaborated on You Right, a track on Doja Cat’s Planet Her album, and on The Weeknd’s In Your Eyes – Remix.

Tesfaye also partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting global hunger, to launch the XO HUMANITARIAN FUND where he will be donating $1 from each ticket in support of WFP’s life-saving food assistance to hunger emergencies around the world. In addition, he will also make a personal donation of $500,000 followed by a $1 million contribution from World Food Program USA. “The goal with this fund is to provide immediate life-saving support to people who are on the brink of starvation,” said Tesfaye in a statement.

This tour will combine his record-breaking, After Hours, album and his newly-released, Dawn FM, album. Some hit singles from this album include Blinding Lights, Save Your Tears, and Take My Breath. According to a press release, the tour will see his most ambitious production to date reflecting the creative journey that continues to unfold for both these albums, creating worlds within worlds.

Ticketmaster opened ticket sales to the public this morning at 10 a.m., after all presales ended at 10 p.m. last night. Standard admission tickets start at $59.50 while VIP packages range from $325 to $995.

The After Hours Til Dawn tour announcement and ticket sales follow the theatrical performance of The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience on Prime Video.
