Roxbury Poetry Festival (FREE)

This event will be a great lineup for you guys, consisting of free poetry workshops, conversations, series, and more. This part of the event will begin virtually starting at 10am. Afterwards, if weather conditions and health mandates permit attendance, The Publisher’s Poetry Slam will be outdoors, at Nubian’s Square’s Blair lot. On site will be public health representatives, social distancing markers, and volunteers to ensure the event is safely executed (i.e., masks). This will take part from 5-7pm, where 10 poets will be competing for a book deal from Button Poetry.

To end the night, there will be The Beast the Beat event that will happen at the same location, from 7-9pm. Head to the website now to register for a workshop or other activities that may interest you. Volunteers are also needed, if interested email roxburypoetryfestival@gmail.com.
