Now Listen Here: Boston’s Storytellers

Do you love a good story? Who doesn’t! MassMouth is a company that, before the pandemic, hosts live shows for audiences to come and hear true stories told by regular people. MassMouth was a storytelling giant in Boston. However, due to the pandemic, it couldn’t sustain itself and has officially closed its doors. 

All of the people that worked at MassMouth got together and created something new, “Now Listen Here”. NLH is a live workshop and storytelling show that anybody can attend. MassMouth always encouraged people to get up and tell their story, so now they’ve created a place for people to learn. Generally, any type of creative story is accepted as long as it is based on true events. Audiences love to listen to the experiences of other people. There are so many different stories and types of experiences in the world, so this is a great opportunity to share yours or learn about someone else’s.

Even if you aren’t keen on sharing your story, you are able to listen to others tell theirs! Now Listen Here is currently planning live shows. They are searching for outdoor venues where it would be safe and social distancing friendly. Being able to experience these stories live is what makes the experience.
