Nature in Autumn Walk

Saturday, November 13th - 9:30-11:30AM - Mary Cummings Park

The Trustees is hosting the “Nature in Autumn Walk“ this upcoming Saturday, November 13th from 9:30AM until 11:30AM at Mary Cummings Park. Cost of attendance is $9 for members and $15 for nonmembers.

In this nature walk, you will be able to explore natural season and be part of a late season plant identification lead by naturalist Boot Boutwell! You will leave being able to: find plants that are in fruit and in the process of dispersing their seeds, ID trees and shrubs without any leaves, and ID some winter weeds!

The walk around the park will focus on plant identification as well as some fun and interesting natural history about the plants you will be seeing. This is a great opportunity for nature lovers to get together or for those who are looking for ways of learning more about the outdoors!

Space is limited and therefore pre-registration is required and can be done here! Children ages 10 and up are welcome but they must be accompanied by a registered adult. As mentioned, prices are $9 for members and $15 for nonmembers.
