On Thursday, July 29, join the Boston Red Sox in celebrating the life of American singer and songwriter, Jerry Garcia! Fans with tickets who purchase this special offer online will receive a Jerry Garcia Red Sox co-branded hat to celebrate the evening, with a portion of the ticket sales benefiting the Rex Foundation. The Rex Foundation was created by “members of the Grateful Dead and Friends” in 1983 as a charitable non-profit organization to “proactively provide extensive community support to creative endeavors in the arts, sciences, and education”.

A pre-game concert will be held on Jersey Street prior to the first pitch with musical performances from Skull and Roses. All ticket holders who purchase tickets for Jerry Day will also be invited to a private post-game “Concert Experience” on the Sam Deck, with details being released closer to the game date. This post-game event will start after the final out is made in the game. All post-game events must end by 11:15 PM.
* All hats are currently sold out. By purchasing a ticket online, you will still be included in all of the pre and post-game events for Jerry Day, and a Jerry Day hat will be mailed to you by the end of August. There is a flat $5.00 shipping and handling charge per ticket for the hat mailing and the hat will be mailed to the address entered in the checkout screen. You will receive one hat per ticket ordered.
