Il Patio di Eataly: Boston’s Summertime Piazza Now Open!
Eataly Boston announced the re-opening of Il Patio di Eataly: Boston’s Summertime Piazza for this season and we couldn’t be more excited! The space offers Italian spritzers, traditional Neapolitan-style pizzas, creative pasta dishes, seasonal salads, cocktails, and regional Italian wine for guests to enjoy throughout their visit!
In Italy, a piazza is a public square that holds gatherings, parties, festivals, and markets. To harness this type of atmosphere in the city of Boston, their menu features genuine Italian food and has a focus on the community through collaboration. Boston-based creators, nonprofit organizations, and local artisans, florists, and booksellers will come together to show the community their work and accomplishments throughout the season.
Cocktail Collabs For A Cause
Senior Beverage Manager Gregg Guertin will work with influential guests to curate drinks inspired by their favorite spirits. Every month, one of these drinks will be featured and a portion of the proceeds from each drink sold will be donated to a local organization (How cool is that?!).
Below is the schedule of each influencer as well as the local organizations they are giving back to!
Through June 6: Claudiane Philippe – named Boston magazine’s BEST OF BOSTON® 2020 - Cocktail Blogger. Her charity of choice is Rosie’s Place, a community center for women that offers emergency shelter, meals, wellness care, housing and job services, and more. (@nailthecocktail)
June 7: Kate Weiser – created a guide to all things Boston. Her charity of choice is Black Lives Matter Boston, which centers its work against racist policing, abolishing mass incarceration, economic disparities, and the factors that impact the school-to-prison pipeline. (@bucketlistboston)
July: Brayan Mesa – captures the beauty of Boston restaurants, architecture, and more through his iPhone. His charity of choice is Community Servings, which prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to individuals and families living with critical illnesses in Massachusetts. (@brayanmesa)
August: Kira MacLean – hotel and restaurant expert who captures Instagram-worthy styles and destinations throughout the Northeast. Her charity of choice is GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (also known as GLAD), a national organization with a Massachusetts chapter committed to ensuring the GLBTQ community knows their rights.
