High Street Place: Boston’s New Modern Dining Hall

After a two-year delay due to the pandemic, High Street Place is set to open tomorrow, March 2, 2022 at 10 a.m. as Boston’s new downtown dining hall.

This project has been in the works for nearly five years. In April 2017, Rockpoint Group purchased this 20,000-square-foot space between 100 High Street and 160 Federal Street with the vision of transforming it into an upscale amenity space for professionals in the Financial District.

Gensler and Groundswell Design Group, the architectural design teams behind this venue, placed a five-story atrium in the center of the location along with a retractable green wall system that opens and offers outdoor dining during the warmer months. The space also offers many opportunities for exploration with its six entrances and nooks and crannies at every twist and turn.

High Street place will have a line-up of twenty food and beverage vendors to offer customers a wide variety of choices ranging from bar services to international cuisines to a juice and smoothie bar. The following vendors compose the High Street Place food options:

  • Bubble Bath

  • Daiquiris & Daisies

  • Dive Bar

  • Ego Convenience

  • Pharmacy Cafe

  • Fuji at HSP

  • Gorgeous Gelato

  • Gracenote Coffee

  • Haley Jane’s

  • Hum’Oveh

  • Kutzu

  • Mamaleh’s Delicatessen

  • Mike & Patty’s

  • Mother Juice

  • Newburyport Brewing Co.

  • North East of the Border

  • PennyPacker’s

  • Tenderoni’s

  • Wheelhouse

A spokesperson for High Street Place also announced that Blackbird Doughnuts will open its seventh location at the food hall. Blackbird Doughnuts has a pre-established reputable brand as a specialty donut shop around Boston at the South End, Fenway, Harvard Square, Brighton, Newton Centre, and Beacon Hill.

The food hall will host events regularly– live music, happy hour, watch parties and fitness classes.

High Street Place will be opened Monday through Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.. You won’t want to miss this architectural dream design, delicious food, and amazing entertainment options!
