Haydn + Saint-Georges Concert (FREE)

Calling all classical music enthusiasts! Aisslinn Nosky, Concertmaster of Handel and Haydn Society, is directing a juxtaposition of two of the greatest Classical masters.

As mentioned, the H+H orchestra performance will be directed by Nosky - who will also play the violin - and conducted by Ian Watson. The pieces that will be played are:

  • Saint-Georges: Allegro from Violin Concerto in G Major, Op. 2, No. 1.

  • Haydn: Symphony No. 43, Mercury.

The performance will take place tomorrow, May 25th, and will be the closing to the 2020-21 virtual season. The concert will be streamed online and tickets can be accessed by simply registering for the event. Although free, a donation of $10 is highly suggested in order to support the cost of production and the musicians that make the event possible. Those who are already subscribers and donors (over $100) will be automatically sent a link to access the performance and bonus content.
