Future Teens playing ‘All Star’ at ONCE x Boynton Yards
Self-described “bummer pop” band Future Teens perform their contemplative take on Smash Mouth's classic anthem "All Star" live at ONCE at Boynton Yards, August 27, 2021. It was warm back then.
One Night Creative Events (ONCE) posted an email update today with this video, thanking patrons, the creative team behind the theme song for the 1999 Smash Mouth theme for Shrek.
All Star was originally recorded and released on the band's 2020 EP Sensitive Sessions (futureteens.bandcamp.com), now streaming.
More from the ONCE update are some plans for the future and the fate of the footage shot and recorded at the outdoor stage in Somerville last summer.
Over the winter we are going to be working on the video we recorded and we are grateful for the funding we are receiving from our Patrons on Patreon, which is crucial to helping with editing expenses. If you can, please join us and get access to the first glimpses as we work through the Summer Series footage!
All the while we are looking for a new home for the physical club, you know that you can trust us to stay dedicated to supporting the local music community, bands and musicians. And until we can all meet again under a ONCE roof we will continue to do that in other ways.
Please watch and enjoy, you rock, ONCE Army!
