Festival of Trees

Friday-Sundays in November and Wednesdays-Fridays in December

The Massachusetts Horticultural Society is hosting the Festival of Trees at The Garden of Elm Bank for the end of November (Friday 11/26, Saturday 11/27, Sunday 11/28) and the month of December (Wednesday-Fridays). Prices vary.

Visitors will be welcomed by a warm cup of hot chocolate, which is included in the ticket price. You can stroll through the outdoor garden lights, visit Weezie’s Garden for Children, and explore Snow Village which features model trains wending their way through villages and vignettes including Christmas in the City, Fenway Park, a Dickensian village, the North Pole and hundreds of decorated houses.

This is an activity for the whole family! Despite all the amazing activities already mentioned, the highlight of the event are the dozens of decorated holiday trees donated by local businesses, garden clubs, area organizations, and individuals. If you want to win one of the trees, you can do so by joining one of the raffles that will be drawn on December 19th. Tree sizes varies and many include various gifts and decorations.

To wrap up your visit, you will enjoy some toasted S’mores that you can make yourself at the fire pits using the S’mores kit provided to you with your ticket! Advanced purchase of tickets is required for both MHS members and non-members/general admission. Tickets can be purchased here for both the weekend and weekday! Ticket pricing can be seen below!
