David Sedaris at Symphony Hall

Sunday, November 21st at 7PM - Symphony Hall

David Sedaris will be part of the Celebrity Series of Boston once again this year and he will be doing so on Sunday, November 21st at 7PM at the Symphony Hall. Tickets range from $29-$79.

There is a reason why best-selling author and humorist David Sedaris continues to be one of Celebrity Series’ most popular events year after year. Even for those who do not normally take time to see authors on tour, Sedaris is often the exception. He is a beloved figure who never ceases to make a connection and leave an impression.

David Sedaris has become one of America’s pre-eminent humor writers with his sardonic wit and incisive social critiques. He is a master of satire and one of the most observant writers addressing human condition today which is shown through the great skill he shows when slicing through cultural euphemisms and political correctness. He is the author of Calypso and Let’s Explore Diabetes with Owls. He also has some personal essays such as The Best of Me, Theft by Finding Diaries, and his most recent piece, A Carnival of Snackery.

At the event, you will hear readings of new and unpublished stories which Sedaris brings to live in its own special way. After the performance, Sedaris will be signing some books in the Symphony Hall lobby. Don’t forget to get your tickets that range from $29-$79! If you attend, make sure you share some pictures of the signed books by using the hashtag #davidsedarissignedbook.
