Charcoal Magazine Ego Death Launch Party
Charcoal Magazine is hosting a launch party for its ninth issue, Ego Death, on Saturday, April 30 from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Howard Thurman Center for Common Ground.
Charcoal Magazine is a multimedia arts and culture publication company based in Boston dedicated to celebrating young artists of color and their stories. Each issue explores the intersections of identity and art by featuring live, visual, and written content created by young artists of color throughout various platforms.
Ego Death, the ninth issue of this magazine, tackles the philosophical question and the basis of humanity–the ego. If this event is anything like its precedent– the Charcoal’s Magazine Fashion Show– it will provide a space for guests to let go of their inhibitions.
The event organizers encourage interested parties to attend the event in formal attire to enjoy a night of live performances, an interactive room, photo booths, food, and refreshments. Guests will also receive a free copy of Ego Death!
Tickets are free of cost on Eventbrite. Any questions about the event should be directed to Charcoal Magazine– they can be contacted through email or Instagram.
Leave your inhibitions behind, dress to impress, and enjoy a phenomal night where you can be your true self!
