Boston Pops July 4th Spectacular (FREE)

Join Jon Batiste and Mavis Staples this Sunday to celebrate the 4th of July! Watch a live televised performance at Tanglewood televised by The Boston Pops on Bloomberg YV, Bloomberg Radio, Bloomberg.com, and in Boston on WHDH-TV Channel 7. Unfortunately tickets to attend the concert live have been sold out despite being free, but you can still watch from the comfort of your home!
Then proceed to Boston Common to enjoy some fireworks in partnership with the City of Boston. The closing of the state wide event will be delivered in the city as it has been done since 1974. The Boston Common fireworks display will be carried by Bloomberg and locally in Boston on WHDH-TV Channel 7.
More about the concert: Keith Lockhart will be the leader of the program and Jon Batiste and Mavis Staples will join him as well as featured performances from the Six-String Soldiers of the U.S. Army Field Band, and members of the United States Air Force Band’s Singing Sergeants. The show will run from 8 to 10:30PM, and the fireworks will be directly after.
