MFA Summer Nights @ Concerts in the Courtyard 🎤 Madison McFerrin and More!
Concerts in the Courtyard
July 18–August 29
Summer is here, and so is the season of music in the MFA's Calderwood Courtyard. Every Thursday night this summer, the Elaine and Jerome Rosenfeld Concerts in the Courtyard series brings a diverse lineup of musical talent to the heart of Boston.
This week, Madison McFerrin, daughter of legend Bobbi McFerrin, is a rising star in the music world known for her unique blend of soul, a cappella, electronic pop, jazz, and more. Her music has been described as "soul-appella" by none other than Questlove of The Roots, and she's earned praise from outlets like The New York Times, NPR, The Fader, and Pitchfork.
Madison will be joined by Tori Tori for an opening set, and the concert promises to be an epic night of music and summer vibes. Doors open at 6 pm, and the music starts at 7:30 pm, so grab your low lawn chairs or blankets and get ready to enjoy an evening of music under the stars.
Upcoming!
The Concerts in the Courtyard series has a lineup of incredible artists throughout the summer, including Mokoomba, American Patchwork Quartet, Patty Larkin, Jake Blount and Mali Obomsawin, and Session Americana with Eleanor Buckland.
