Concerts in the Courtyard

Friday, July 23rd from 12pm to 1pm

The Boston Public Library will be hosting a free, hour-long Latin & jazz performance brought to you by Fabiola Mendez on Friday, July 23rd.

This performance is part of the BPL’s Concerts in the Courtyard Series that is sponsored by Bank of America. The concert will happen in the McKim Building Courtyard of the Central Library in Copley Square and is open to a limited number of in-person attendees. The event will also be broadcasted on Youtube using this link! No registration is required for neither the online or in-person event.

The concert is recommended all ages so it is perfect for the family!

About the performer:

Fabiola Mendez, a Puerto Rican cuatro player, has taking part of a musical movement that crosses over the lines of different genres that include folklore, jazz and Latin. She is a Berklee College of Music graduate and has worked and performed for artists such as: Totó La Momposina, Eddie Palmieri, Puerto Rican Symphony Orchestra, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Cucco Peña, and Pedro Capó, among others.
