Clown Heads Floating in Boston 🤡 Max Streicher's Playful Sky-High Art Takes Over the City

Get ready for an enchanting surprise in downtown Boston. Suspended whimsically 15 to 20 feet in the air are two gigantic, colorful clown heads, part of the inspiring "Endgame (Nagg and Nell)" installation by the brilliant Max Streicher. This playful and eye-catching artwork, crafted from recycled billboard canvas, is a lively centerpiece of the Downtown Boston Business Improvement District's "Winteractive" series, designed to sprinkle magic and joy throughout the city's winter landscape.

"Endgame" is the third of 16 imaginative installations, hot on the heels of the magnificent 56-foot whale sculpture “Echoes – A Voice From Uncharted Waters.” It's a delightful invitation for lively chats and shared smiles among Bostonians and visitors. Michael Nichols, President of the BID, envisions these installations as beacons of fun and excitement, livening up the winter months and drawing crowds to support the heart of Boston's local businesses.

Nestled near the Modern Theatre at 525 Washington Street, "Endgame" is a vibrant testament to Boston's dedication to creating modern, interactive public spaces. So, bundle up, head downtown, and let these cheerful clown heads brighten your winter in the most enchanting way possible!
