CLN&DRTY Skincare Is Your Next Obsession

Almost every product these days is labeled as “organic”, but does anybody really know what ingredients are in their favorite skincare products? You might find yourself slightly cringe every time you look at the price tag of a product before you buy it. These are all problems that many of us deal with during every purchase of a beauty product. However, don’t give up and settle for the major brand products that are untrustworthy.

Paula Hoss, Founder and CEO

CLN&DRTY skincare was created in 2016 when Paula Hoss, the founder and CEO, was looking for safe and easy-to-identify beauty products. Paula searched for beauty products that were affordable and trustworthy, but unfortunately, she came up with nothing. At that moment it was her goal to create products that consumers could trust. Skincare products that are natural and safe that are at a reasonable price are the foundation of what is important to CLN&DRTY.

Paula has a personal connection to creating skincare products that actually work because she dealt with an outbreak of hormonal cystic acne. Anybody that has experienced any type of acne dedicates themselves to finding the best products to get rid of it. Paula’s passion for health and wellness also started to bloom when she was working at Lululemon before launching CLN&DRTY. “I had the joy of taking countless fitness classes, meeting entrepreneurs who were pioneers in the wellness space, and truly seeing that there was a gap in the market for personal care products that have a connection to the consumer” Paula mentions.

In the process of creating CLN&DRTY, Paula decided that she wanted to foster a community that focuses on skin positivity and creating a safe space for acceptance and vulnerability. She personally knows what it is like to deal with skin imperfections and wants others to feel comfortable in their skin.

CLN&DRTY is more than just a skincare company. They focus a lot on mental health advocacy and want their customers to feel safe and welcome in their environment. Paula says that “we want to pass on those characteristics and values to our community and we always encourage our customers and partners to do the same. We truly believe in community over competition and that a rising tide lifts all boats.”

This past year has been really tough for a lot of people and mental health is affecting almost everyone. CLN&DRTY takes the time to focus on talking about it and supporting the community. They want to help people find the resources they need to move forward and to know that everything will always get better.

For the future, the company hopes to continue creating sustainable and clean products that treat a variety of skin conditions. They also hope to grow their community that is known as welcoming and fun while never taking themselves too seriously. “I hope to expand our reach to help inspire people to feel confident in their skin and also to be inspired by myself to keep pushing through mental health illnesses and chronic pain issues (which I personally advocate for)”, Paula said. For retail goals, they are working on expanding to reach more brick and mortar retail and online stores.
